Is Hoosier qualified for aerospace and defense work?
Yes. Hoosier has been designated a critical supplier, a certification given only to companies with more than three years and no recorded product flaws. We have maintained an integral role in NASA’s Mars Rover Mission program since its inception, and we support defense system manufacturers under our ITAR registration.
Can Hoosier manufacture medical device components?
Yes. We are ISO13485:2016 certified and FDA registered, which qualifies us to machine components for medical device OEMs.
Does Hoosier do rapid prototyping?
Yes. Time-critical work runs through our Rapid Prototype Management (RPM) program, built for customers whose time to market is critical.

Who owns Hoosier?
Hoosier was founded May 1, 1979 by Lana Scott-Whaley and David Whaley and is now in its third generation of family ownership and management. As a family owned and managed manufacturing tradition, we take everything personally.
